Find balance
—a quiet pause between what has been and what is becoming.
Growth doesn’t rush;
it unfolds gently,
just like the turning of the seasons.
Hello wonderful you, can you feel it yet? The light is returning. The days are stretching just a little longer, and there’s a fresh, new energy in the air.
Tomorrow, at 0901 GMT, the Spring Equinox arrives—a moment when day and night are exactly equal in length, before we move into the longer, brighter days ahead. It's a pause between dark and light, rest and movement.
I’ve been sitting with this shift, reflecting on what the rhythms of spring offer us.
As we enter the Spring Equinox tomorrow, it feels like the perfect time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we want to go.
The equinox is about finding balance—before the days get longer, before the flowers bloom, before we dive into the energy of spring. It invites us to take a quiet pause between what has been and what is becoming.
For me, this equinox ties deeply into my word for the year: intention.
Spring is about planting seeds, and intention is how we decide what to grow, what to nourish, and where to focus our energy this season.
Just as the earth doesn’t rush to bloom, neither should we. The equinox invites us to pause, reflect, and set an intentional course for the months ahead.
As I step into this new season, I’m reflecting on where I want to direct my energy:
What am I planting with my thoughts, actions, and energy?
Where can I focus my intention to cultivate the growth I want to see in my life?
These are the questions I’m carrying with me as I move into spring, aligning my actions with my heart’s desires.
How are you weaving intention into your day-to-day life?
Even the smallest, simplest actions can start moving you forward.
Let’s take a moment to reflect:
What intentions are you setting this spring?
What do you want to nurture, allow to grow, or make space for in this season?
This year, I chose to embrace the quiet power of intention. It’s not about forcing things to happen but about aligning with the energy of spring—gently choosing where to plant my energy so I can see it bloom over time.
Here’s a haiku as a little offering of this season’s quiet unfolding:
Spring’s Call
Light begins to grow,
Quiet buds begin to show—
New life starts to flow.
As we step into this space of growth, remember that it’s okay to take your time. Renewal isn’t about rushing to bloom. It’s about trusting that, when we plant our seeds with care, they’ll grow when the time is right.
As you set your intentions this spring, be kind to yourself. The equinox offers balance, but we don’t always have to feel perfectly balanced to begin.
A gentle reminder: intention doesn’t require perfection—it’s simply the practice of showing up for yourself, day by day, with patience and compassion.
If you’re feeling scattered or unsure, that’s okay.
Spring is as much about rest as it is about growth.
Take the time you need to breathe and allow yourself the grace to move at your own pace.
Holding space for you, always.

Beautiful reflections and just at the right time for me, thank you Dana. I have a tendency to look back at the past spending too much time thinking about what I did 'wrong'; my focus needs to be on what I can do right now to help me to move forward with positive intention. Very grateful 🙏 🥰 Karen
On point Dana 🥰it's been a beautiful day and your post reflects the new vibration xx Loving your poetry ❤️
