𝒟𝑒𝒶𝓇 ℱ𝓇𝒾𝑒𝓃𝒹𝓈,
Words don’t just land; they ripple. They settle into the spaces of our lives, sometimes in ways we don’t expect.
Every so often, one of you shares how something from my letters has stayed with you:
Pinned to a board
Carried into your day
Tucked into a quiet moment of reflection
And each time, I pause.
I notice. I wonder. I realise—
Your words deserve a space of their own.
That’s where Grounded Echoes comes in.
Grounded Echoes will be a unique offering.
Unlike my other regular letters, they will truly be ad-hoc.
These letters will be:
A response to your words
A reflection of what has resonated with you
A space to breathe and settle even deeper
For transparency, the structure comes from something I learned in 2016—Values-Based Reflective Practice (VBRP®), a model developed by NHS Scotland to support staff reflection for those working within healthcare and the surrounding multi-disciplinary team.
It encourages non-judgmental reflection through the rhythm of:
I Notice — What stands out
I Wonder — What it stirs within me
I Realise — What settles into wisdom
I’ll be adapting this method to guide these upcoming letters, inspired by your comments and moments shared with me.
For comparison, here’s how the rest of my current offerings flow:
Weekly Grounding Letters: Personal reflections, thoughts, and musings to pause, imagine, and reflect
Monthly Grounded Whispers: Aligned with my word for the year—intention—and the soulful energy each month brings
Cyclical Whispers: Timely reflections for the equinoxes, solstices, and seasons (Northern Hemisphere), each with its own soul call. The first one will be released in the spring.
Before we end this letter, I’d like to offer a short poem—
It’s a reflection of the ebb and flow of our moments,
how they echo through the spaces we leave open to listen.
ECHOS OF THE EVERYDAY
The words we speak, the silence between—
A ripple, a pause, a space to be seen.I notice the flicker of moments untold,
The stories we carry that quietly unfold.I wonder, like water, what stirs in the deep,
The echoes we listen to while our hearts softly sleep. And I realise—we’re all part of the flow,
Learning to listen, learning to grow.
Perhaps there’s something from my letters that’s stayed with you—a phrase, an image, a feeling.
I always enjoy reading your comments and look forward to hearing what’s resonated with you.
When the time feels right, I’ll be sure to follow the echoes you share.
𝒲𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝒢𝓇𝒶𝓉𝒾𝓉𝓊𝒹𝑒,
🙏 𝒟𝒶𝓃𝒶 𝓍𝑜
